When I originally posted this it was going to snow here in Chicago, so I had time to put some thoughts down about the city. I Was actually thinking of some cool places to have events in Chicago and here is one of the thousands.

Chicago is one of the world’s greatest cities and it has an unprecedented number of unique venues to host your off-site. I threw the idea out to some of our planners and asked, what is one of the coolest things you can do here. Here was one of the suggestions, I will try and sprinkle some more in as time goes by.

You can throw an “EL” of a Party during your next Chicago Event by chartering a train on the Chicago Elevated Trains

Chicago's world famous 'L' trains are available for rent (who knew). Your event can travel to the limits of the city and everywhere in between. From the Loop and through the eclectic neighborhoods of America's second city, CTA trains offer a perspective of one of the world's most beautiful cities that you can get nowhere else. It is fantastic to travel through the neighborhoods to get a glimpse of the diversity and energy that Chicago has.

Except for rush hours, you can rent a train at any time. Most everything is permitted including food, drink and even live music (Sorry, no booze-- Although I do understand why). Each car holds about 30 people comfortably and you can rent more than one.
