Well, here I go. Finally back after traveling and such. We are planning a very cool final night event for a great client and I wanted to share a little of what it is all about.

Night Four………Fire

By night four, this group is pretty worn out. They had the big bash on night three and now it is time to chill in the lava lounge. Ballrooms are pretty boring on a normal day but the crowd is in a room dressed in warm reds, a river of lava flows through the open doors and into a lake of fire. Dinner is spicy and hot……….foods that fit the theme. On the big screens, images of the past few days flash by.

During dinner there are awards and accolades to recognize shining stars of the organization.

After dinner, during desert, jungle drums come to life and the air walls slide open revealing the lava lounge. A cool hip space for relaxing and chilling out from the heat of the event.

Two bars in each corner are built right out of the side of active volcanoes. Smoke and lava pour out. The walls are awash with images of flame. Around the room, vintage couches, chairs, lamps and rugs add to the relaxing atmosphere while a three piece jazz band livens up the evening. Signature drinks can be poured right out of the volcano, while a cigar roller entertains. In essence, a private, members only club for an intimate group of 400.

Knowing this group, this is the perfect way to end 4 nights of excitement………. in the past big final galas have emptied out by the time the entertainment hits the stage and the majority of the group can be found hanging in the bars and restaurants around property chilling and having low key conversations or they head back to their rooms to get ready to take off the next morning.

Rather than lose them to relaxation, we thought it would be great to end the event by giving them exactly what they want (and need). An opportunity to hang with friends and colleagues and share the week’s experiences.
