Event and Meeting Planning Theme - A Chilling Event Theme
We have an awesome client event coming up this summer and we are taking attendees on the Arctic journey of a lifetime without ever leaving sunny Las Vegas. A journey to the land of the midnight sun.
Guests are arriving in style, greeted at the airport and whisked to an off-strip resort; they will have time to freshen up before they come down for the opening night kick-off. They are not told anything about the evening except that they should bring a pair of warm shoes (this will really make people wonder).
Attendees will be instructed to hang out in a special cocktail area inside the resort, shimmering blues and ice cold appetizers—basically a hip holding area while the final touches are put on the evening event.
At the appointed time, the doors to the outside will be opened. A winter wonderland waits, with snow mounds and freshly shoveled sidewalks. Something no one will expect.
After a short walk through a scene out of the North Pole, guests are poolside, in the arctic. We are decking out the pool area with Titanic size icebergs (giant blocks of ice in the pool), cool blue linens, igloos, snow mounds and a menu that is 80% cold items.
Attendees will be encouraged to use their comfortable, warm shoes……………..we are really going to blow them away with the snow, in Las Vegas, in the summer. Lot’s of snow. In the hours before the event, we will be pushing out about 700 lbs a minute of real snow (not movie magic).
Once the party is in full swing, the band jamming and the drinks flowing, the plan is to build snow forts, play snow volley ball, throw snow balls and more. The biggest and most exciting thing for the attendees on the opening night………….the sledding hill. A gigantic snow field that will allow the attendees run amok with plastic sleds and toboggans—supervised of course.
This description does not do the event justice, but I think that it is pretty cool (no pun intended).
