I am pleased to announce that OnSite Events has been offered the opportunity to participate in the Society of Government Meeting Professionals, Old Dominion Chapter Education Conference: "Green Meetings and Wellness" taking place March 12-13, 2008 at the Wyndham Virginia Beach Oceanfront in Virginia Beach Virginia. Both myself and Greg will be heading to Virginia to take part.

We have a duel role during the conference, I will be presenting first on planning green meetings and both Greg and I will take a role as part of a panel discussion on best practives in producing green meetings and events.

Other panel members include State Representative Tom Griffin and Charles Waddell, Director of Sales and Marketing for the Wyndham Hotel in Virginia Beach. The panel will be moderated by some folks from the EPA.

Greg and I are really excited to have the opportunity and to share a little of our knowledge of green meetings and events with the Government event planning community.

I hope that we are able to shoot some video of the event, which I will post here late next week, at the very least, I should have some great notes and ideas as well as some images.
