Odd Marketing
So, something hit my inbox this morning that should make you wonder about your own event marketing. I opened this e-mail and got a good chuckle at some marketers expense. I might even say it was a good laugh!
When marketing to people, remember that they are smart, informed and for the most part, a little more on top of things than the people at Pizza Hut think we are.
Check out the following e-mail marketing piece, announcing Pizza Hut's new "Restaurant Quality Pasta".
Last time I checked, Pizza Hut was a restaurant, so wouldn't it have been better to say "As good as homemade"?
Please ignore the fact that I actually get Pizza Hut Marketing in my inbox...........we can call it market research!
