Rob Hard from About.com has done something that I wish I had thought of, he went and looked at AIG's hotel bill from their now very public St Regis incentive event that was held this past September (after the disaster that was the AIG meltdown).

The hotel bill was made public due to hearings into their collapse.

All bad business decisions aside (this event should have been cancelled for nothing more than avoiding the public relations nightmare that it became) I recommend that every planner have a look, he has done some fine work going over the bill, it actually makes for interesting reading.
