An Election Day Wrong
I am not sure about anyone else, but this election day has me energized. I woke up at 5:30 today just so I could get to my polling place before the lines started.
No matter your party, this is an election that everyone should participate in.
Get out and vote.....NOW. Do not sit this one out on the sidelines saying that it does not matter. It matters more than ever and your vote is important, more than you will know.
Here is what I found wrong today.
I returned to my desk and my computer and found an email in my inbox that made me cringe.
It was from a ticket broker/ corporate hospitality company out of New York that offered to sell OnSite Events and our clients tickets to the 2009 Presidential Inauguration Swearing-In, Parade or Gala Balls.
Wow, is this what we have come too. I have purchased tickets for our clients to the Superbowl, the Masters, Bulls Games and even the Theater...........and will do it again 50 more times this year. This however, goes to far.
The email even said that the tickets could be used for personal or business use. Business use.............what the heck.
Please, do not buy a ticket to one of these events for personal or "business" use. I am not sure why I feel so strongly about this, but it just seems wrong to me on so many levels.
Just a thought,
Keith
